A bit about me…

I began my career in the beauty industry 15 years ago, completing my Diploma of Beauty Therapy right here, on The Sunshine Coast. Immediately after finishing my Diploma, I moved to Sydney to study makeup artistry, and was lucky enough to land my dream job with M.A.C cosmetics before graduating as a makeup artist. I managed stores and worked for M.A.C cosmetics for 8 years. In my time with M.A.C I gained a wide range of experience, working on many different productions, including The Voice, Australia’s Next Top Model and Australian and International Fashion Weeks. I decided to move back to the Sunshine Coast to be closer to my family in 2015. I have always been passionate about eyebrows and have a unique story when it comes to my own.

12 years ago, when I was working at M.A.C cosmetics, one of my colleagues offered to pluck the stray hairs from my brows after doing a very heavy Smokey eye on me. She was plucking for quite a while and I remember thinking to myself that I didn’t realise I had that many stray hairs. I didn’t think much more about it until I got home that evening, washed my face and discovered that the ‘stray’ hairs that had been plucking were actually the second half of each of my brows.

All I was left with was a tuft of hair on each side and 13 years later I am still waiting for my brows to grow back. This was back in the time where eyebrows weren’t as much of a feature, and being a newly qualified makeup artist, I didn’t have much experience with brows…

but I had to get good at them…fast! It was this experience that emphasised for me how much of a difference brows make to someone’s face and where my passion for eyebrows began and my career as a brow specialist was born.

It is because of my own experience that I understand how much of a difference brows to make to each individuals face and just how important they are to make your face feel complete. It was also from this experience that my love for eyebrows began. I offer a very personalised service as brows are not a ‘one size fits all’. Everyone requires something different, and I tailor each and every consultation and tattoo service specifically to the needs of my clients. It is very important to me that my clients feel comfortable before, during and after their treatment.

I offer a wide range of brow services including shaping, tinting, henna, lamination and cosmetic tattoo, as well as eyeliner and lip tattoos. I am in my last year of my bachelor’s degree in nursing and once qualified as a Registered Nurse, I will be adding cosmetic injectables to my list of selected services.

I can’t wait to see you all in the salon soon!
